In the years 2009-2010 the Dutch folk collective the Gonnagles recorded their new album, called “CDII Ten Bal”. With this title, we invite people not only to listen to our music, but also to dance on it. All tracks are composed by members of the band themselves and all the tunes are based on French/Flemish balfolk dances. The fact that the music is based on traditional dances, doesn’t mean the music itself is traditional too. All kinds of European folk are mixed with other music styles like pop, jazz and classical.

The Gonnagles are a crazy, but above all very talented collective. They succeed in mixing wild party music with intimate moments of beautiful harmony. The Gonnagles are with many, but it really doesn't reduce the energy which splashes from the stage. Toon van Mierlo
