Band members

Gonnagles is a folk collective from Enschede (NL), composed of a small dozen musicians. The band was started in 2005, and plays mainly their own balfolk compositions. Although the Gonnagles successfully played several bals in their own country, a very major part of their audience lives just over the border in Germany, where the Gonnagles have good contacts with the fast growing balfolk scene. Their first CD with a mixed repertoire of Euopean folk music was released he first of February 2008. Right now the band is working hard to record their own compositions for the second CD.
