Jaap dacht dat het een goed idee was om in Singapore te gaan wonen.

Toen hij vertrok was hij gitarist in het grote Gonnagle folk collectief. Eenmaal in Singapore kwam hij erachter dat hij in zijn eentje op gitaar niet alle partijen van de muziek tot hun recht kon doen komen. Daarom heeft hij inmiddels zijn verzameling instrumenten uitgebreid totdat hij weer een band bij elkaar had. De keren dat hij weer in Nederland of Frankrijk is voor een Gonnagle optreden zitten we dus meteen opgezadeld met een stuk of 4 extra instrumenten op het podium. Dat kan er ook nog wel bij...

	10'' Istanbul hi-hat, on a cheap (=light and small) stand (Lazer musical instruments). Jaap tried to find cymbal stands that are as crappy as possible,.. so that they are also light weight and small.
